The Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max is one of the most powerful and advanced iPhone models ever released, featuring a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2868 by 1320 pixels at 460 ppi and ProMotion technology with adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz. It is powered by the A19 Pro chip, Apple’s most powerful and efficient chip for iPhone, and includes a new internal architecture with an Apple-designed vapor chamber for enhanced heat dissipation that allows higher sustained performance.
The iPhone 17 Pro Max has an all-new design with a lightweight aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminum unibody, Ceramic Shield 2 front and back glass for improved scratch resistance, and is available in three colors: deep blue, cosmic orange, and silver. It features three 48MP Fusion cameras (Main, Ultra Wide, and Telephoto) offering an equivalent of eight lenses with up to an 8x optical zoom, and an 18MP Center Stage front camera.
Battery life is significantly improved, supporting up to 39 hours of video playback and capable of charging 50% in 20 minutes with an optional high-wattage USB-C power adapter. Storage options range from 256GB up to 2TB, and the phone weighs 233 grams.
Pre-orders began on September 12, 2025, with availability starting September 19, 2025.
