f1 schedule

The 2025 Formula 1 season features a record-equaling 24 Grands Prix, kicking off with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne (March 14-16) and concluding with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina (December 5-7)[1][4][7]. The calendar continues the recent trend toward a more logical geographical flow, grouping races regionally to ease travel demands and improve logistics[1].

Key changes in 2025 include Bahrain and Saudi Arabia moving to April to accommodate Ramadan, making Australia the opening round for the first time since 2019[1][6]. The season also maintains its traditional August summer break, with no new Grands Prix added but some adjustments in the order of events[2][3].

Six F1 Sprint events will be held at the following venues: Shanghai (China), Miami (United States), Spa (Belgium), Austin (United States), Sao Paulo (Brazil), and Qatar, with Belgium returning as a Sprint venue for the first time since 2023[3][4][5].

Pre-season testing is scheduled for February 26-28 in Bahrain[1][2]. The Las Vegas Grand Prix will again take place on a Saturday[2]. No new teams or engine manufacturers are planned for 2025, but the driver market remains dynamic, most notably with Lewis Hamilton joining Ferrari[3][7].
