SSV Jahn Regensburg has recently unveiled its new kit set for the 2025-26 season, designed by Hummel in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Jahnstadion Regensburg[3]. The home kit features a white base with gray gradient graphics of the stadium, red pinstripes on the shoulders and side panels, and the club’s core values printed inside the collar. The third kit is light gray with a red and white vertical stripe and includes the stadium’s facade pattern on the shoulders and side panels. These were showcased at a special event in front of the stadium in partnership with main sponsor Netto Marken-Discount[3].
On the pitch, Jahn Regensburg enjoyed a dominant preseason victory, defeating SpVgg Oberfranken Bayreuth 7-0 in an international club friendly on July 6, 2025[2][4]. The team is set to play its next friendly against SpVgg Unterhaching on July 11, 2025[4][2], while a match against FC Ingolstadt is scheduled for August 2, 2025[2].
Regensburg’s winter transfer window saw several key moves, including the loan signing of Sargis Adamyan from Köln and Anssi Suhonen from Hamburger SV, as well as the arrival of Tim Handwerker as a free agent from Nürnberg[1]. The club also completed transfers for Dominik Kother (from Dynamo Dresden), Frederic Ananou (from Sint-Truiden), Tobias Eisenhuth (from Viktoria Köln as a free agent), and Niclas Anspach (from FC Homburg as a free agent)[1].
The lineup from their recent friendly included notable players such as Christian Kühlwetter, Eric Hottmann, Dejan Galjen, and Julian Pollersbeck, with Benedikt Saller currently sidelined due to injury[2]. The club continues to prepare for the upcoming 2. Bundesliga season, building on their strong defensive record and recent promotion back to the second division after defeating Wehen Wiesbaden in the play-offs[5].
