Marvel Studios continues to expand its universe with an exciting lineup of films and television series for 2025 and beyond. Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) kicks off in July 2025 with the much-anticipated film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, introducing Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic[4]. This film is followed by animated and live-action series, all aiming to shape the final chapters of the Multiverse Saga[1].

On the big screen, Fantastic Four: First Steps will debut on July 25, 2025, marking the official beginning of Phase 6. Other major theatrical releases on the horizon include Spider-Man 4 in July 2026, Avengers: Doomsday in December 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars in December 2027[2].

The television side on Disney+ is also robust for 2025, with six shows scheduled for release—three live-action and three animated. The slate includes Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Daredevil: Born Again, Ironheart, Eyes of Wakanda, Marvel Zombies, and Wonder Man[1]. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will lead Wonder Man, while Charlie Cox returns for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, and Hudson Thames voices Spider-Man in the second round of the animated series[4].

In comics, Marvel’s Ultimate Universe continues to grow. July 2025 brings Ultimates #14 featuring the debut of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in the Ultimate line, and Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #2 where Miles Morales leads a team into Wakanda. Other series include the ongoing Ultimate Black Panther and Ultimate X-Men[3]. In the main Marvel Universe, Captain America (2025) #1 launches, showing Steve Rogers adapting to a new America under the shadow of Victor Von Doom[7].

Looking further ahead, Marvel has teased several untitled films for 2028 and beyond, and an untitled Punisher special starring Jon Bernthal is in the works. These projects continue to interweave the epic storyline threads that have defined the MCU’s Multiverse Saga[4].
