Cliftonville Fc

Cliftonville FC has announced the departure of goalkeeper David Odumosu, who has joined Cork City. Odumosu, 24, initially arrived at Cliftonville on loan from St Patrick’s Athletic in the summer of 2023 before making the move permanent in January. He made 74 appearances, kept 28 clean sheets, and was part of the Irish Cup and BetMcLean Cup winning squads in 2024. The club also expressed gratitude to Axel Piesold, a 20-year-old midfielder who made a loan move from Luton Town last season and has now completed a transfer to Galway United[1][7].

In response to Odumosu’s departure, Cliftonville FC has secured the signing of 27-year-old goalkeeper PJ Morrison[3].

On the pitch, Cliftonville recently defeated Dundela 3-1 in a Club Friendly, and their next scheduled friendly is against Loughgall on July 3, 2025[2]. Upcoming fixtures for July include matches against Derry City, St Joseph’s, Crumlin United, Glentoran, and Moyola Park[6].

The club is also preparing for the UEFA Conference League Qualifying rounds for the 2025/2026 season[5].
